On Sunday, I wore Silks Premium Tights, and they felt wonderful. I highly recommend them. Read the remainder of my blog entry for the review.

I have mentioned before that wearing hosiery with shorts in -10°C weather is possible. If Lady Gaga can wear sheers with no skirt, or pants in 25°F or -4°C weather, then we can wear opaques with shorts.

I have included links to several photos showing people wearing outrageous outfits that make perfect sense when they cheer for their team. I realize that we have seen situations like this before, but an illustration is worth 1000 words, and it might encourage people to wear hosiery [i.e. pantyhose, nylons, tights, etc.]. That being said, these situations are proof positive that people are willing to break societal norms for this unique type of situation, and to create a new norm. We can use these situations to overcome objections.

I noticed a similarities between the women's fashion of wearing leggings with no pants, skirts, or shirts and the men's fashion from 1450 to 1500. Also, I think that I have new way of getting hosiery on the legs of the mainstream guys out there. If this sounds good to you, then read the remainder of this blog entry.

I wore the blue opaque Foot Traffic hosiery that I wrote about before, and a pair of shorts. My boss showed everybody in the room, that he was wearing very opaque hosiery under his pants. Read the remainder of the blog entry for the details.

I wanted to recommend the perfect types of boots to wear with your hosiery and formal shorts in winter, when you actually have snow on the ground. It turned out to be a bit of a challenge, because most the men's winter boots tend to be casual. Read the remainder of the blog entry to see my 1 recommendation.
Bear in mind that I do not make recommendations for casual winter wear, because it is easier to do that on your own, without my help.

I got another coupon from Lulu.com, yesterday.
I went to orchestra rehearsal last night, and I wore the blue opaques that I bought from Foot Traffic, with a white turtleneck, a hoodie sweat shirt, and my least favourite black shorts. I felt uncomfortable wearing such a bright colour with my outfit, but the other opaques were in the laundry, or were being saved for my better clothes.

I thought that she always goes bare legged, or wears pants, and/or wear socks. Would 1 of you good readers, please confirm whether or not she is wearing mostly opaque black hosiery and thigh high boots?
I had to page down twice, to see a bigger version.
If I used an incorrect title for Michelle Obama, then please forgive me. I know that that title is not politically correct, but I think that it is okay to refer to her in that way for simple purposes.

Somebody made an interesting guessing game. She showed us 2 hosiery pictures, and then asked us to guess which was most expensive. I was wrong. Try it, just for fun, and then let us know how you did.
We should probably do more of these games.

"The Sound Of Music" has some great outfits for guys who wear hosiery. We just need to bring them into fashion for adults. Read the remainder of the blog entry for the links, and my opinions.

I hate to belittle anybody, but for a good example of how to not dress, check out this guy's outfit.
After that, come back here to read the remainder of the blog entry, to see why I do not recommend this specific outfit.

Here is an old article, from 2009, about whether or not women should wear hosiery in the office. Read the remainder of the blog entry for my response.

The fellow does not directly answer the question, but he does address the issue: "Is sheer black hosiery back in style?"
In Vancouver, I sometimes see women wearing skin coloured or black day sheers. I think that it has become acceptable.

On Sunday, I played my trumpet. For a musical offering, I played a solo piece, and for a Remembrance Day moment, I played both the The Last Post and Reveille. I wore my favourite black shorts, Wolford Waist Socks, black dress shoes, tie, and a sports coat.

On Friday, my pastor and I spoke about me wearing hosiery. He had given me permission in another situation to wear it while performing. During this discussion, I felt that the idea had more credibility in his eyes.
We're gaining ground.

Some interesting news came into my inbox lately. It seems that MTV was excited to highlight the hosiery that 4 fashion bloggers modeled. I bet that hosiery is here to stay, and it will be the up and coming generation that will lead the way, while the bare leg generation will die off still unclad.

We have heard of women being forced to wear hosiery, and not having any interest in wearing hosiery, but it seems that a couple of cheerleaders were not allowed to perform unless they removed their hosiery.

Just a while ago, I took 1 of my favourite pairs, and converted them into footless hosiery, because they were so worn out and so badly damaged. I combined them with knee highs, and I can say that they feel wonderful. It is good to know that this great feeling fabric still has lots of life left in it. The knee highs are HUE opaques. Julee Wilson shows women how to wear opened toed shoes and hosiery. I recommend that women go with it.
As for men, I think that the only open toed shoes that we have are casual sandals, and I kind of wonder if we can get away with it. If we do not care about how we look, and if we do not mind getting dirt and rough stuff between our hosiery and sandals, then we definitely can. There are situations like that, I am sure, but for the most part, I think that guys cannot get away with it.
Do any of you guys and gals wear hosiery and sandals?

I wrote about Secret Luxury hosiery. For all of you Secret Luxury fans, I encourage you try buying Secret opaque hosiery. I think that they do not have a style name for their opaque hosiery.
While wearing them again, I realized that Secret Luxury really feels a lot like the other Secret opaques that I have. This is good news, because I could not find Secret Luxury anymore in stores or online. I suspect that Secret just rebranded the hosiery to help it to sell better.

I was pretty determined to dress up as a jester, but I did not have any time to make the costume. I am on a tight budget too. Fortunately, I found some nice templates on the web for making a jester's hat. I can see that I was way off, when it came to making a hat, using my own techniques.
