Sometimes seeing is believing. I think that if you show people these enlarged photos of hosiery and other nylon, then you should be able to convince them that it is worth the extra investment for a better quality pair. Be sure to look at the last photo, of the low quality pair.
[Sorry for my tardiness. I have been very distracted. I thought that I had already made this blog entry.]
- not knitted nylon pinkish purplish knitted nylon that probably is not hosiery
- knitted nylon
- well knit hosiery
- well knit transparent green nylon hosiery
- well knit opaque green nylon hosiery
- well knit pinkish, brownish, opaque nylon hosiery
- well knit yellowish opaque nylon hosiery
- loosely knit yellowish nylon hosiery
- messy knit purplish hosiery
- messy knit grey hosiery
- poorly knit nylon hosiery
Notice in the last pair that the distances between the yarns are uneven. Higher quality pairs have everything knit in an even manner. Even high quality hosiery that is 100% nylon will have everything done in an even manner. You really do get what you paid for.
