In the commercial for this new show, they showed the main characters wearing a lot of hosiery of different colours, with relatively short skirts.
The series premier of Girls is tonight on HBO, so I decided to post tomorrow's blog post early.
1 interesting piece of information is that the lead star of the show is the writer, creator, and director. This shows me that if she wears a lot of hosiery in the show, then she must really like it, as opposed to other actresses who might have little say in what costumes are worn.

That was a comedy? I'm willing to give it a couple more episodes to see if it hits its stride, but on the basis of the first episode?

I felt that the primary character came across as quite an unpleasant person, and the view of life in the big city is pretty bleak.
If you want a pretty girl in a funny (at times)series, watch "New Girl" with Zooey Deschanel. Not much hosiery in the first few episodes, but then it improves nicely. Episode 13 was very nice.
