Men Wearing Men's Clothing; Not Men Wearing Women's Clothing

There is such a subtle difference between what I am trying to do, and what others are doing. I could be wrong, but most men, pushing the hosiery trend, are probably trying push for the trend to wear women's clothing. For example, Daryll Duane Philips wear hosiery and lipstick. He wears hosiery with no shorts or pants. There is a video and some Facebook photos for you to see.

There are 3 different kinds of perspectives. He is trying to get society to accept men in women's clothing. I am trying to get society to accept hosiery as men's clothing. There are also people who are trying to get society to believe that men's hosiery exists. Do you see the difference?

Weight Loss Can Be Associated With Beautiful Hosiery

It seems that an already slim Alex Jones has lost weight, due to her dancing. The hosiery and other clothing that she wears really flatter her. We could also say that she flatters the hosiery too. See the photos for yourself. I love her outfit with the black opaques and orange mini skirt.

I realize, though, that there are people trying to bring more hosiery to the plus size market, and I congratulate them.

Pretty Polly Web Site Visual Treats

A few moments ago, I was searching through Pretty Polly's web site for their Fleecy Opaques. I noticed interesting things. In 3 of the pictures, there are 1 or 2 other women wearing hosiery as well. I thought that that was like an Easter egg.

Click on any of the photos to go to their web site's main page to see the originals.

Pretty Polly Has New Pop-up Shop

I am very pleased to see them open up a pop-up shop.

From my experience in the hosiery job, I see that we cannot always have a steady supply of every kind of hosiery. Stock fluctuates, and usually, we have a lot of 1 kind and not much of another. I think that a pop-up shop is a great way to deal with fluctuations in fashion and inventory. Once the trend is about to disappear, then we should shut the store down.

It seems pretty simple for Pretty Polly.

Pretty Polly Available In Canada

On Wednesday night, I went into a drug store [i.e. Shoppers Drug Mart] to see what kinds of hosiery they had. I assumed that it would be all the same as what I saw before, but I was completely wrong. They got new product suppliers, and they ended up going with Soxsense®, Allude®, and Pretty Polly.

I had to do a double take. I was so surprised to see that Pretty Polly had made it to Canada. I did not know what to make of their styles. The style that caught my attention, though, was an opaque style, made of polyester and spandex.

It felt very nice, and I hope to try it 1 day.

I am a bit disappointed in Pretty Polly or Shoppers Drug Mart for not letting us know that Pretty Polly had finally arrived in Canada.

Have any of you tried Pretty Polly? What do you think of it?

Used Hosiery: Punching Bag

A nice reader mentioned that we can make punching bags out of this. I am not convinced that we can make anything strong enough to give us a good workout, but I think that we can make a toy to distract us, while we think about things. If we need to clear our minds, then maybe a simple punching bag could work.

This ehow article gives us some instructions.

You can create a homemade punching bag with an old pair of pantyhose by tying a few simple knots. Place a soccer ball into the waist section of the hose and knot the waist of the ball. Use the legs to tie the hose to a beam or tree branch and start punching!

I think that most of us would need to find another way of doing it. Perhaps you have a strong ceiling fixture that you can use to tie an end around. Perhaps you could tie it across a hallway, by tyeing it to a couple of door knobs. If it is too low, then maybe you could tie it on the inside of 2 door knobs on the insides of a couple of different rooms, and then bring the hosiery up and over the doors, with the ball hanging in the hallway. I hope that makes sense. The panty portion would be in the hallway, and the legs would go from there to over the tops of the doors, and down to the door knobs.

What are your suggestions?
