2 Boxes Of Hosiery Arrived

I feel like a child on Christmas morning, who still feels the wonder and magic of the season.

Yesterday, a new shipment finally arrived after a long wait. I knew that some of the products that I ordered were not in the shipment, but that is okay.

Since there were 2 boxes, it was nice to guess which box contained which items. I was wrong.

Because I ordered so long ago, I forgot that I ordered Energizers Medium Support Tights in grey, and so it was such a nice surprise to see it buried underneath the other pairs of hosiery.

I was especially happy to receive Energizers Medium Support Tights in grey [i.e.: graphite colour]. This means that I now have a wider variety in my shop. Most importantly, though, it means that I have a wider variety of my favourites. I do not expect this sell at all, and I bought it for me.

Sent 2 Shipments Today

I was pleased to send 2 shipments for the first time. I sent hosiery to Manitoba, Canada, and to New South Wales, Australia. It means a lot to me, because it feels like I am getting busier.

I was tempted to bring out my delivery bag. It is a free bag that I got from relatives, and I set it aside just for delivering hosiery. I thought that bringing that along would be more trouble than it was worth. It was just as well that I carried the shipments with my hands. They were good for keeping the sun off of my face.

I had to deal with a couple of orders before, if I recall correctly, but 1 of them was a local delivery, and there was not a sense of urgency. She was a friend, who did not mind waiting for when I made a trip out to Vancouver.

Just Got Business Phone Number

This is exciting. My dad had a VOIP phone number that he was not using, so he let me take it for my business.

Just before the weekend, somebody phoned my home line to order hosiery. At first, she got the answering machine, and she did not believe that she had the correct phone number, since she expected a business phone line. This said to me, that I really need to get a business line.

When I recalled that my dad refused to use what is now my business line, I got permission to use it.

The next step is to check if there are any long distance fees. I figure that it should not cost anything, since it is the Internet, but I bet the companies want to make money anyways.

I [A Man] Wore Boots, Hosiery, And Shoes

It is quite hot in #SurreyBC. I walked to deliver a parcel today, and decided to try my army boots as part of my outfit. I wore black footless hosiery, and a dark blue golf shirt, with my black army boots. I was sweating quite a bit.

I intended to buy some transit tickets while I was out. Unfortunately, I forgot my credit card, so I had the dreadful task of going back for it, and then coming out again.

I found the outfit to emotionally feel kind of heavy. Obviously, being summer, I should be wearing light coloured clothes and light shoes. I wore the boot laces untied, which made it seem even heavier and clunkier.

The soles felt comfortable on my feet, so I intend to wear them more when just running errands, even in summer. I like the fact that they are black, which helps them to match my outfits better than the white running shoes.

I think that the boots are a great success! And I have another pair as well. I also have a third pair that will work better in winter.

Modelled Raisa Hosiery By Fiore

A while ago, I did a photo shoot, and wanted to show you what it looked like. I also wanted to show you what Raisa hosiery [my review], looked like. Here is my chance to hit 2 birds with 1 stone. Enjoy!

I did not just take a photo and post it on the web. The Stylish Fox also used an closeup of my leg for the Raisa Opaque Tights [by Fiore] product page.

This is a real milestone for men in hosiery. Typically, men do not model hosiery. Unisex hosiery and specifically men's hosiery are modelled by men, but even still, those opportunities are rare. Also, there is some hosiery that could be unisex, but it is packaged as women's hosiery, so women model it. Men typically do not get to model for this.

I read about 1 fellow who did this, and he got paid, too, if I recall correctly. He appeared to be so feminine, that he was able to pass for a woman.

In this case, I am not trying to pass for a woman, and I am also trying to not look like a man. In the photo, I am just modeling the side of the leg, for the purposes of giving a realistic closeup look. Since it is not showing a lot of the body, it will not be a turn off for picky women. Also, the side of the leg does not always come across as muscular. At least, it does not for me.

I think that that is where normal guys can contribute to the hosiery industry. There are very few photos that give a close up look at the fabric.

Need To Reorder Waistband-Free Tights

On Tuesday, somebody ordered the last few pairs of Silks Waistless Tights [style #19295, not #2395]. That is a milestone for me, because I have never needed to replenish my inventory. I sold over 18 pairs of them, plus a few other styles, in just under 5 months. So, I think that it is safe to say, that, at this rate, I will be able to make over $500/year, without trying. Once I factor in the returning customers, I bet that I will make about $1200/year in 2013. I would not be surprised if it stayed roughly the same, after that. Then again, I hope to create some ads, which should help even more.

I deliberated, over the last 2 days, over what I should also order with them, since I will not need to order so many pairs. I think that I will try ordering Energizers firm support pantyhose, since a friend might order a few. Finally Had 50 Visitors Each Day For Whole Month

From Sep. 3 until Oct. 3, I had 50 or more visitors each day for the first time. It has not gone below that, since then, either. I appreciate all of you regulars. I also appreciate all of you who have directed some of your traffic to my blog. Thank you very much.

My next goal is to get over 60 visitors each day, for a month. As it is, I already have reached a goal of 55, and I think that I need to set higher goals, so that we will not have to see these tiny announcements every month. I think that 60 visitors might be a little bit harder, but maybe as I share more experiences from work, then more readers will come. The last time I got below 60 visitors was on Oct. 1, and the fluctuations have been very mild. If all goes well, then I should be able to announce the next milestone on Nov. 1.

In the distant future, I hope to create some serious articles, but we will have to see how that turns out.

From Aug. 21 until Sep. 20, I had over 45 visitors each day for the first time. It has not gone below that, since then, either. I appreciate all of you regulars. I also appreciate all of you who have directed some of your traffic to my blog. When I first made this blog post, my next goal was to get at least 50 visitors each day, for a month. That happened much quicker than I thought. The blog post announcing that will be posted in another 12 hours.

I think that I can do it, because I plan to post more than just once per day.

In the distant future, I hope to create some serious articles, but we will have to see how that turns out.

I Got The Hosiery Job For Sure

Around noon, the department manager from Sears called me to say that I should come in to fill in the forms and officially accept the job. I will stay for training, and begin working this Saturday.

I am so excited to work in hosiery sales.

About 20 minutes ago, I got a call on my cell phone. I accepted. I was supposed to go for a second interview, but they just hired me.

Sears Offered Me An Interview For Hosiery Sales Job

Remember when I applied for a hosiery job? I actually got a call from Sears for a job interview for a hosiery sales job. I cannot believe it! They called yesterday, at 3:15p PDT. This is probably the first time in decades, that a guy has been interviewed for this type of job.

This is the first time, in a long time, that I will actually prepare for an interview.

Finally Had 40 Visitors Each Day For Whole Month

From Jul. 28 until Aug. 27, I had over 40 visitors each day for the first time. It has not gone below that, since then, either. I appreciate all of you regulars. I also appreciate all of you who have directed some of your traffic to my blog. Thank you very much.

My next goal is to get over 45 visitors each day, for a month. That will be challenging, but I think, that I can do it, because of several reasons.

• I am becoming more organized in how I create blog posts.
• I am also creating more consistent content.
• I only have to go another couple of days before I reach this milestone.
• I have gotten bigger spikes in visitor numbers lately.

In the near future, I will continue posting Wikipedia hosiery photos, and used hosiery ideas. I hope to post more hosiery fiction, Is She Wearing, and surveys, but we will have to see about that.

Finally Had 30 Visitors Each Day For Whole Month

From Feb. 4 until Mar. 5, I had over 30 visitors each day for the first time. I consider that a huge milestone, because it is really hard to bring traffic to a blog, as many of you already know.

On MySpace, I was able to get over 200 visits per week, but now it is more like 210. Also, on MySpace, it was hard to know exactly who was visiting. Now I can use data to see if some of the visits are unique.

My next goal is to get over 35 visitors each day, for a month. That will be challenging, I think, because this is such a niche topic. There are not enough people who are interested in this.

The most important goal will be to continually produce some interesting content that we like, instead of catering to the masses.

My Extended Family Now Knows That I Wear Hosiery And My Uncle Bought A Copy Of My Book

It was good to have support from a couple of family members. The rest were uncomfortable. I think that I might wear shorts and hosiery at the next family gathering.

I am grateful that my uncle took the book off of my hands. It means that I have only 1 more book on my hands. Also, I appreciate his support. He got me to autograph it.

It was interesting to see them look at the photos and a few pages here and there.

I decided to start writing again, because I want to make a harder push.

I want to focus on finding a broad cross section of people to share my ideas with. Also, I want to get some photos of various kinds of people who support me, so that you'll be convinced that it is okay for men to wear hosiery in mainstream society.
